While many things often change: relationships, living arrangements, jobs, health, and even hobbies - the Quon is still making Hip Hop for the working man. That blue collar ethos is a constant in his music as he stays grounded in reality, as is his willingness to put in the long hours to hone his craft. Nowhere is that more apparent than tracks like "Addiction" which show a new found pop sensibility melded with the razor sharp lyrics and delivery he's become known for.

While a deeply personal album, the Quon is certainly not alone. Along for the ride in his gritty Midwestern narratives are Chicago area MCs such as: FURY, Spartikus, A.D. Danny Barz, Mista Dent, and KB. Quon is also joined by Ferior doing yeoman's work behind the boards. He may be broke still, but his new album sounds like a million bucks.
